Captain Sarabjeet S Parmar

Captain Sarabjeet S Parmar was commissioned into the Indian Navy in 1987. He has commanded INS Bedi, INS Sharda and INAS 330. Capt. Parmar served as Joint Director Naval Plans in Directorate of Naval Planning at IHQ MoD (Navy) and also was Directing Staff at Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington. He was a research Fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA), New Delhi. and the Director (Strategy) in the Directorate of Strategy Concepts and Transformation at IHQ MoD (Navy). Author was also the Director Strategic Maritime Assessment and Doctrine Development and joined the NMF in April 2018 as Senior Fellow., Distinguished Fellow, Council for Strategic and Defense Research, Distinguished Fellow, United Service Institution of India. Capt. Parmar is also a Senior Fellow at the NMF.
