Event Report

On July 24, 2025 in collaboration with FSR Global, CRF hosted a policy dialogue to deliberate on strategic policy interventions essential for strengthening India’s natural gas ecosystem. The keynote address was delivered by Shri Rajiv Gauba, Member, NITI Aayog. Special addresses were delivered by Mr. Praveen Mal Khanooja, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Mr. A K Tiwari, Member, Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board. The dialogue was structured around two thematic panel sessions that explored critical aspects of India’s natural gas sector. The two sessions focussed on Policy Initiatives for Accelerating Natural Gas Adoption in India, and Infrastructure Matters – Strengthening Natural Gas Infrastructure for India’s Energy Transition. The panellists emphasised on integrating natural gas in GST Framework, expanding domestic gas production, accelerating infrastructure development, and ensuring policy coherence, coordinated governance.
