About Centre for Economy and Trade

The Centre for Economy and Trade is dedicated to shaping resilient and inclusive economic systems by analyzing global markets, trade policies, and emerging trends. Through rigorous research, we examine macroeconomic policies, infrastructure growth, and the impact of digitalization on industries. Our goal is to foster sustainable economic strategies that enhance connectivity, competitiveness, and long-term prosperity, with a special focus on the Global South’s role in global trade.

Our Philosophy

Drawing from Arthashastra, we embrace economic pragmatism, strategic statecraft, and sustainable wealth creation as the foundation of a strong economy. Rooted in Dharma (duty) and Artha (prosperity), our approach balances economic ambition with social responsibility. From a contemporary economic order, we incorporate Adam Smith’s invisible hand and Keynesian insights on state intervention to navigate complex global markets. By integrating ancient wisdom with modern economic thought, we craft policies that drive inclusive growth, and long-term stability.
