About Centre for Geopolitics and strategic studies

The Centre for Geopolitics & Strategic Studies serves as a center of excellence for the analysis of global power dynamics, international relations, and strategic affairs. By examining multilateral organizations, regional developments, naval strategy and maritime security, and emerging geopolitical issues, we provide insights that shape foreign policy and strategic decision-making. With a strong emphasis on the Global South, our research fosters dialogue and cooperation to redefine global governance and balance power asymmetries.

Our Philosophy

Rooted in Rajamandala, Kautilya’s ancient theory of statecraft, we recognize the fluid nature of alliances and strategic interests in global politics. Inspired by Neeti (policy wisdom) and Yukti (strategic foresight), we emphasize pragmatism in diplomacy and defense. Our approach focuses on enhancing capabilities, embracing responsibilities, and cultivating partnerships that bolster India’s global influence. By redefining the global order through the lens of the Global South and blending historical statecraft with contemporary strategic thought, we develop policies that promote strategic resilience and inclusive global leadership.
