Unnati Misra

Unnati Misra is a Research Consultant at the Chintan Research Foundation. She holds a degree in law from the Indian Law Society Law College, Pune, and practiced as a lawyer before transitioning into policy research.

She completed her Master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from the SOAS University of London, where her academic work focused on the politics and strategic dynamics of West Asia. Her research interests include geopolitics, regional security, and great-power competition across the Indo-Pacific.

At present, she analyses the evolving geopolitical landscape of Southeast Asia, with particular attention to strategic alignments, maritime security, and the role of emerging powers in shaping regional order.
