Dr. Ravneet Kaur Bhogal completed her Ph.D. titled “Energy Security Framework of the European Union and the Role of Norway” at the Centre for European Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She holds a graduate degree in Economics from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and a postgraduate degree in Politics with a specialization in International Relations from JNU. Her research interests include the European Energy Union, energy security, political economy, international relations, European human rights policy, and European identity issues. She has published a paper titled "Pandemic-Induced Economic Inequality" in the International Journal on Responsibility of James Madison University. As part of her academic engagements, she has attended the Nordic Summer School organized by the Centre for European Studies, School of International Studies, JNU, in collaboration with the Nordic Centre India. She has attended the Summer School “The European Union, the United Nations and Global Governance” organized by Leiden University, The Hague.
She has also actively participated in and presented research papers at international conferences organized under the Jean Monnet Module at the Centre for European Studies, SIS, JNU. She has also presented a paper at ICSSR’s national seminar on Borders and Boundaries in North East India on “Economic Integration and Permeability of Borders”.
