Dr Anchita Borthakur holds a PhD from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Her primary area of research is South Asia with a particular focus on Afghanistan and Pakistan. She secured the South Asia Foundation Scholarship awarded by SAF (an Apex body of SAARC) and M.Phil. Research Fellowship issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. Before this, Dr. Anchita was a Research Associate at the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF), New Delhi.
