Committee Meeting of FICCI Civil Nuclear Taskforce and Round Table on India's Nuclear Vision: Financing 100GW Target
The Roundtable will focus on developing a robust financing ecosystem to support India's ambitious target of achieving 100 GW of nuclear power capacity by 2047. Discussions will examine financing frameworks, investment models, risk allocation, insurance mechanisms, regulatory enablers, and innovative financial instruments required to mobilize long-term capital for nuclear power projects. Deliberations will also explore the role of public and private sector participation, financial institutions, institutional investors, and industry in creating bankable nuclear projects and strengthening the domestic nuclear value chain. The Roundtable will bring together senior policymakers, regulators, financial institutions, and industry leaders to identify actionable policy recommendations for accelerating investment and enabling India's long-term nuclear energy expansion
