India-Indonesia Strategic Partnership & Way Forward
The Chintan Research Foundation hosts a day-long brainstorming session, "India-Indonesia Strategic Partnership & Way Forward," on 3 July 2026 at the India International Centre, New Delhi. As Indonesia emerges as India's second-largest ASEAN trading partner, with bilateral trade at $28.15 billion in 2024-25, the session brings together diplomats, policymakers, and industry experts to chart the next decade of collaboration across Digital Public Infrastructure, connectivity (air, maritime, and ports), and trade and investment. The day features remarks from senior diplomats and culminates in a recommendations paper to deepen this two-millennia-old partnership.
