Transforming Urban Mobility, Catalysing Transit-Oriented Development
CRF is organising this national conclave on ‘Transforming Urban Mobility, Catalysing Transit-Oriented Development’ in partnership with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), scheduled for 16th June 2026, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by lunch and networking.
This conclave aims to bring together National, State, and other major stakeholders to deliberate on India’s rapidly evolving urban mobility landscape, and to discuss how metro systems, when paired with transit-oriented development, innovative urban financing mechanisms, and strong last-mile connectivity, can help build cities that are more accessible, efficient, and sustainable.
Spanned across two sessions, the discussion aims to generate insights on the future of urban mobility in India, the role of metro systems in transforming city transport, the importance of multimodal integration, and the policy, governance, and financing frameworks required to make transit-oriented development more effective and implementable.
