World Climate Readiness Summit (WCRS)

Chintan Research Foundation (CRF), as the key strategic partner, joined IPE Global in convening the World Climate Readiness Summit (WCRS) 2026 on 28 October 2026 at the India International Centre, New Delhi. Under the theme “Echoing the Voice of the Global South,” the summit brought together policymakers, development partners, financial institutions, private sector leaders, researchers, innovators and civil society representatives to explore practical pathways towards a climate-ready future.

The discussions focused on climate governance across regions and states, low-carbon transitions, youth leadership and locally led climate action, mobilising private capital for climate solutions, and translating global climate commitments into measurable outcomes ahead of COP31. The summit examined how stronger institutions, innovative financing mechanisms and cross-sectoral partnerships could bridge the gap between climate ambition and implementation, while keeping the development priorities of the Global South at the forefront.

By fostering collaboration and sharing actionable solutions, the summit aimed to advance inclusive, resilient and people-centred climate action.
