CRF focuses on bridging the gap between policymakers and industry, integrating real-world insights into its research and advocacy initiatives. Our work spans climate change and energy transition for sustainable, net-zero growth; economic and trade policy with a private sector lens; and geopolitical and strategic studies with a particular emphasis on the Global South. Shishir Priyadarshi
Shishir Priyadarshi is a former Director of the World Trade Organization (WTO). With over 22 years of working closely with global institutions, his area of interests focuses on international economic policies, infrastructure development, and trade regulations. He was responsible for all the work related to developing countries, including in the context of trade negotiations, capacity building and the special and differential treatment provided to them. Before his international role, Mr. Priyadarshi served for over 20 years in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), holding senior positions at both the state and central levels.
