Event Report

On June 4, 2025, this day-long conference was organised at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The event featured a welcome address by Shishir Priyadarshi, President, CRF, and a keynote address by Shri Dammu Ravi, Secretary of Economic Relations. Various other speakers included from academia, policymaking, and industry. The conference highlighted the integration of the physical and digital infrastructure to bolster trade, investments, and connectivity across countries. It was structured around three sessions, each delving into a key dimension of IMEC – its critical pillars, the evolving geopolitical discourse surrounding its emergence, and its potential beyond trade. The panellists reiterated that the IMEC signifies India’s rise as a global power and its potential to reshape the global landscape.
