Eastern Himalayan Dialogue 2026

Chintan Research Foundation (CRF), New Delhi, and the Eastern Himalayan Center for Public Policy (EHCPP), Kalimpong, are pleased to announce the Eastern Himalayan Dialogue 2026, to be held in Kalimpong, West Bengal, on 28 September 2026.

Envisioned as a platform for policy dialogue and regional collaboration, the Dialogue will bring together policymakers, scholars, practitioners, industry leaders and civil society representatives to examine the strategic, economic, environmental and governance challenges shaping the future of the Eastern Himalayas.

Through focused discussions, the Dialogue will connect regional perspectives and lived realities with national policy priorities. It will seek to generate practical, evidence-based recommendations for building a more resilient, sustainable and inclusive Eastern Himalayan region.

The Eastern Himalayan Dialogue 2026 aspires to foster new partnerships, strengthen regional voices in policymaking and advance a shared vision for the future of this strategically important and ecologically vital region.
