India–Africa Forum Summit IV: Geopolitical and Economic Expectations and Opportunities
The roundtable discussion on “India–Africa Forum Summit IV: Geopolitical and Economic Expectations and Opportunities,” scheduled for 04 May 2026, will focus specifically on the significance and expectations surrounding the forthcoming India–Africa Forum Summit IV (IAFS IV). Bringing together academicians, scholars, and practitioners, the discussion will examine how IAFS IV can serve as a platform to redefine and reinvigorate India–Africa relations in a rapidly evolving global order.
The deliberations will centre on key priorities for the Summit, including strengthening trade and investment ties, enhancing development cooperation, and aligning India’s engagement with Africa’s emerging continental frameworks such as AfCFTA and Agenda 2063. It will also assess India’s strategic positioning amid growing external competition in Africa and the need to deliver tangible outcomes through IAFS IV.
The roundtable aims to generate focused recommendations on shaping the agenda, outcomes, and long-term vision of IAFS IV to ensure a more responsive, impactful, and mutually beneficial India–Africa partnership.
