India Congress 2026 Biogas for Indias Energy Security Circular Economy & Net-Zero Transition

Chintan Research Foundation (CRF) is proud to partner with the World Biogas Association (WBA) as the Knowledge Partner for the 4th World Biogas Association India Congress 2026, being held on 8–9 October 2026 in New Delhi. The Congress will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, technology providers and practitioners to explore pathways for scaling India’s biogas and Compressed Biogas (CBG) ecosystem. With a focus on investment, market development, technology, plant utilisation and enabling policy frameworks, the event will examine how India can unlock the potential of agricultural residues and organic waste. It will also highlight biogas as a strategic pathway for strengthening energy security, reducing dependence on imported natural gas, improving waste management and addressing urban air pollution. The two-day programme will feature high-level discussions, industry engagements and an exclusive site visit showcasing biogas deployment on the ground.
