Dr. Bhavna Singh

Dr. Bhavna Singh is currently a Visiting fellow at CRF. She is the author of China’s Discursive Nationalism: Contending in Softer Realms (2012) and has edited two volumes titled 'India, China and Sub-regional Connectivities in South Asia' (2015/co-edited) and 'The BRI and the Indo-Pacific: Reinventing Traditions' (2025). She was awarded her PhD in Chinese Nationalism from the Centre for East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2021. She previously worked as a consultant with the CCCS, MEA (2021-2023), with CAPS (2018-2020) and IPCS from 2010-2013. She is skilled in Chinese Language with HSK-5 proficiency and is a prolific writer.
