Saheli Chattaraj

Saheli Chattaraj is an Assistant Professor of China Studies at Somaiya Vidyavihar University. She previously served as a China Consultant at the Centre for Contemporary China Studies, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, and was a founding faculty member at the China Studies Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia. She is associated with the India-China bilateral project on the Encyclopaedia of India-China Cultural Contacts. A fluent Mandarin speaker, she has worked as a bilingual simultaneous interpreter at high-level bilateral and multilateral forums, including BRICS and the SCO.
