Abhijit Mukhopadhyay

Abhijit Mukhopadhyay is an accomplished economist and public policy professional with over 23 years of experience in economic and policy research, teaching, and media. He previously worked at ORF and Ideas Network. He has worked extensively in economic, monetary, banking, financial and trade policies, geoeconomics, sustainability, and development research. He is a regular contributor of articles and stories to national and international academic journals and various media platforms. He has also presented research papers at international and national conferences, seminars, and workshops. He did his M. Phil., M. A., and B. Sc. (Hons.) in Economics – the first two from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning (CESP), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Outside professional spheres, he is an avid reader of books and has deep interests in all areas of art and culture. He loves to travel, meet new people, and get to know them.
