Dr. Akanksha Jain

Dr Akanksha Jain is a Research Consultant at the Centre for Climate Change and Energy Transition. She holds a PhD in Biotechnology from South Asian University, where her work focused on biofuel (hydrogen) production, waste valorisation, microbial bioprocess optimisation and engineered systems analysis. Her expertise spans sustainability analysis, life-cycle assessment, clean energy systems (hydrogen, biofuels, ethanol, biogas), and science-policy communication. Akanksha has authored scientific papers, policy commentaries, and op-eds. She also works on integrating Indic ecological thought into contemporary narratives of sustainability and science education. Passionate about accessible science communication, she develops data-driven insights to support evidence-based climate and energy policy.
