Anvesha Adhikari is a Junior Research Associate at the Ashoka Centre for a People-centric Energy Transition (ACPET), Ashoka University. She holds an MSc in Economics with a specialization in Environment and Resource Economics from the TERI School of Advanced Studies and a BSc in Physics from Wilson College, University of Mumbai. At ACPET, she works on research projects related to India’s coal phase-down, electricity demand modelling, and pathways toward a just energy transition. Her interdisciplinary academic background enables her to approach energy and environmental challenges with both technical and economic insight. Anvesha has strong skills in econometric analysis and data modelling, with proficiency in STATA, R, C++, and advanced Excel, and a working knowledge of Python. She is passionate about sustainability and aims to contribute to data-driven, inclusive policymaking in the energy sector.
