Shreya Kaushik

Shreya Kaushik is a senior development sector professional with over 15 years of experience in policy research, advocacy, and sustainable finance across South Asia and Southeast Asia. She specialises in sustainable finance, responsible business practices, ESG, and economic policy, bringing deep expertise in translating complex financial and environmental issues into actionable policy recommendations. She has led multi-country research initiatives, regional advocacy campaigns, and coalition- building efforts across Asian countries, engaging stakeholders ranging from financial institutions and civil society organisations to intergovernmental bodies. She has represented civil society perspectives at high-profile global forums including COP26, the G20, and ASEAN. Shreya has designed and delivered flagship studies on sustainable finance taxonomies, agribusiness accountability, and inequality in agricultural finance, helping position organisations as regional thought leaders on just and inclusive transitions. She has designed in depth program strategy and delivery, having scaled research- based initiatives into active policy engagement with banks and regulators in politically constrained environments. Her cross-sector experience in development finance, circular economy, and agricultural supply chains enables her to bridge silos between financial flows and development outcomes, and to convene diverse stakeholders around accountability and reform.
